cowboypeHow can I upgrade in running system? Tell us step-by-step pls. thx
HopoLBased on your situation, after rolling back to 7.1.4, try deleting everything on your USB drive except the config folder. Then, take all files from the unRAIDServer-7.2.0-x86_64.zip except the config folder and copy them over to the USB. If that doesn't work, you can try switching to a different USB boot drive—just make sure your config backup is safe, then replace the UNRAID_GUID. Hope this helps!
EstebanHello and thank you for this patch I've used twice.
I've just tried to patch and upgrade from 7.1.4 to 7.2.0 but it failed, got a message my key was blacklisted, had to use my backup to roll back.
I don't understand what I missed, would you please help me a bit?
UNRAID is still running 7.1.4
I got your patch extracted, renamed unraider-7.2.0 to unraider and drop it to my USB FlashDrive /config
Upgrade UNRAID to 7.2.0
Reboot
And I got blacklisted.
I didn't modify my go file, is that the problem?
UNRAID_GUID = the GUID related to http://ip:port/Main/Flash?name=flash
#!/bin/bash
export UNRAID_GUID=xxxxx
export UNRAID_NAME=HomeBox
export UNRAID_DATE=1654646400
export UNRAID_VERSION=Pro
/lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 /boot/config/unraider
# Start the Management Utility
/usr/local/sbin/emhttp
# Start the LincStation N1 LED Service
cp -r /boot/config/led/ /usr/local/sbin/led/
chmod 777 /usr/local/sbin/led/go_8130_led_linux
nohup /usr/local/sbin/led/go_8130_led_linux >/dev/null 2>&1 &
Hope anyone could help me understand.
Toan4thIt works, thanks dude. Had to use a 2nd USB just in case but it works either way! Love you dude (no homo)
HopoLBasically, just replace the unraider file in the config folder on your USB boot drive using the terminal, then go ahead and start the upgrade. That’s it!
HopoLIf you want to upgrade from 7.1.4 to 7.2.0, just rename unraider-7.2.0 to unraider, and then replace the old unraider file inside the config folder on your USB boot drive. After that, just start the upgrade on your running system—you’re all set!
Toan4thi was thinking the same, replace the unraider file of the a running unraid 7.1.4 server then update via the web ui. But that's my guess, the guy hasn't responded yet
PaoloNon ho capito bene come fare l'aggiornamento come tanti altri, puoi scrivere passo passo?
